How this log is built

The index re-fetches prices daily and appends a dated point to its price history only when a price actually changes. This page and the RSS feed are regenerated from that history at every rebuild — the log can't drift from the data, because it is the data. Sources and verification dates live on eachmodel page; method details on methodology.
